We absolutely loved our stay at this hostel. The value for money was unbeatable, with comfortable rooms and great facilities. The location was perfect, close to the bus stop and within walking distance of the town center. The staff at Yellow Belly were fantastic, always friendly and willing to help.
The food for breakfast could have been better, maybe more variety would have been nice.

I recently stayed at Yellow Belly Backpackers for a week and had a fantastic time. The staff, particularly Jess on the front desk, were incredibly friendly and cool. The hostel itself was quiet and chill, with a spacious common area and a well-equipped kitchen. One of the best things about the hostel was its location, close to the Cahal Pech ruins and some great restaurants and bars. The value for money was exceptional, and I would highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.
Would recommend this hotel.

Got great value for my money at Yellow Belly Backpackers! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hostel had a nice area for socializing. The location was perfect, with supermarkets nearby and Cahal Pech just a 2-minute walk away. The owner and staff were amazing, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the area. They even gave me a ride to the airport!
The breakfast menu could use a little improvement in terms of variety.

We had an amazing time at the hostel! the owner, Bubbles, and his brother were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were always available for a chat and went above and beyond to assist us with any questions or requests. Bubbles also led the tours organized by the hostel, and we had an incredible experience on the mountain pine ridge tour. the hostel itself was clean and well-equipped, with spacious rooms and individual fans for each bed. the kitchen had everything we needed and the common area was comfortable and inviting. Don't miss out on the amazing balcony!
Nothing not to love! ✨.

The location was convenient for transportation to nearby towns, and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to assist with any issues and provide information about the area. The dorms were comfortable and clean, and the bathrooms were spacious and well-maintained. The tour I booked through the hostel was absolutely incredible and exceeded my expectations.
I found the distance from the downtown area to be a bit inconvenient. It took about 10-15 minutes to walk into town, which could be a hassle, especially when it was crowded.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. I really appreciated the free bikes that were available, as it allowed me to explore the area easily. The daily bed-making service was a nice touch, ensuring that my room was always tidy. The bathrooms were clean and spacious, and the WiFi worked well throughout the hotel. the well-equipped kitchen made it easy for me to cook my own meals.
The pillows were a bit too thick and hard for my liking, and it would have been nice to have some hammocks or a comfortable couch to relax on. The air conditioning in the room was off for a few nights, which made it a bit uncomfortable.

We stayed in a hostel that was the best we've ever experienced. the location was fantastic, with a bus dropping us right at the door. It was close to the town center, supermarkets, and a fruit and veg market. the big, well-equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze. the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the hostel had clean rooms with comfortable beds. We loved chilling in the spacious lounge area upstairs and meeting fellow travelers from all over the world.
Some ants were occasionally present in the kitchen, but that's common in this part of the world.
